I have one weird noise that seems to come from the cover over the rear storage area. Sounds like a light reverb sound when going over railroad tracks. Got to believe its the cover that is doing this. Anyone else here this.

 

Yeah, that's normal. I have it too.

 

You can call Porsche service and have them run your VIN# in the system. They will tell you if there's any recall outstanding.

 

Or you can waste $10 at Suncoast Porsche and have them do the same thing they used to do complimentary.

 

These noises drive me crazy and make me want to just trade in the motha-f'er.
Luckily one of the noises was from the CLECK car seat that I got. The other is from the passenger seat. Even if you hit it with your hand it will make noises that the other seats do not make. I give up on dealers with these type of issues they all say the same thing, " we can not replicate your problem, sorry sir". In other words 'your bat sh*t crazy or we do not want to take the trouble'.

 

Do any of you have a creaking coming from the door edges when going over a driveway or speed bump of some sort. Almost sounds like a boat creaking? If you do, what are you guys using to get ride of it. I'm guessing its the weatherstripping

 

interesting that we all have someone unique rattles in our cayennes. that tells me that there may be some general quality control issues in the manufacturing process vs. one or few specific issues that manifest themselves across many cars.

funny how the cars that i test drove at the dealership were all rattle free!
