Although I think Yoko's are some of the best tires out there, when I say that I am referring to the grip and performance for the first 5K miles.
After the first 5K miles they start to get rougher and noisy.
I had these on my GTS and same result.

I drove mine for 17K miles down below the 5/32 wear mark then threw them away, and put on my winter wheels/tires.
I will not buy them again. I will by Michelins for my next set.

Is the standard answer "that's normal wear and tear"? I would think that Porsche would like to know about the issue and redo that portion do the seat with vinyl that would hold up better.

cjwal is infamous around these parts
Thanks for the input. I was looking at the p zeroes. They look like they have a good overall rating. A little more life from what I see on other ratings sites. just summer conditions here in Dallas. So will be running them year round.

Btw I saw they were standard on the new 911.
