Dealer conveyance fee

Trying to buy Cayenne S. After negotiating the price and after I gave deposit on the car, the dealer produced a purchase order with $299 "conveyance fee". Anybody else had to pay it?

Unless its a state fee or tax, its simply profit for them. Documentation fee, this fee, that fee...they just make it sound official so folks assume its something that its not. Just say "no" to it.

Stealer fee to pass along the cost of doing business. It's not enough for them to make the kind of money they do on these high profit cars...

Its basically a documentation fee and some dealers throw it on. It's basically a garbage fee. Is it bogus, no? Is it a bunch of garbage that dealers try to tack on, ya.
