What is the Charge menu option?

Just wondering if you guys know what the Charge menu option is under the wheel pressure settings? I read the manual and I still don't understand. This is far fetched, but can the PASM inject air into your wheels? What is the whole point of setting the ride settings when it comes to the wheel pressures?

Hartdude is infamous around these parts
You have the option for "full" or "partial (might be listed as comfort, can't remember off hand)" load. This will change what the tire pressure monitoring system is requesting for air pressure in the tires.

Example: Under partial/comfort load you may have 32 psi in a tire, but under the full load setting it will tell you it wants 40 psi in the tire. You can change the load setting, then head into the fill screen to see the difference.

If you are going to be hauling a bunch of people/cargo, or doing any sort of high speed/spirited driving, Porsche wants you to use the full load setting.

Hope that makes sense.

Edit:

PASM doesn't add air for you, you'll have to do that one yourself.

There is
Partial load over 100mph
Partial load under 100mph
Full load over 100mph
Full load under 100mph

IIRC. Depending on your needs, the lower PSI gives a more compliant ride. Setting the TPMS screen tells the system when to warn you to add more air and when to stop accelerating. For example if you used an under 100mph PSI and you exceed that, a double beep warning will pop up telling you that you've exceeded the max speed for your tire pressure.

From that screen, you can also set your wheel size and tire type.
