22" RGB5 wheels

Hi
I am thinking of going from my 20" spyders(275-45R20) to Champion Motorsports 22"RGB5(285-35R22),which I believe would look great on my blacked out pepper
I am a bit concerned about how the ride quality would be affected
When by myself I do enjoy spirited driving,so I can accept a harsher ride
However, when I will have passengers aboard,I can't expect them to feel the same way
I will also be driving cross country, during which I am sure I will encounter less than perfect roads,so I wonder how the 22s will handle it compared to the 20s
I post this cause I've never changed the wheels on any of my cars,so I have zero experience in this department
Any advice is much appreciated

Here's my advice.. It's your car do what you want to it and don't worry about what others think. If they don't want to ride in a sweet cayenne with 22's for a few thousand miles put them on the train.

If I were in your position I'd get the 22s..
Turbo looks great on that rim size.

I love the look of a nice set of 22's, but my ideal size for my appreciation is the 21's.

If you sell your 20's maybe I'll take them for and extra set of winters....

Do you have to have wheel arch extensions for 21" or not?

I have only experienced the 21" but it has an excellent balance between handling and a comfortable ride.
Is it possible to test drive a 22" Cayenne?

I know i know. but seriously it's not a sports car, it's a baby carriage.

Good point on the substantial price difference in the tires. 22" tires would be much better deal than 21" based on logic. Perhaps the reason is that many top end OEM wheels/tires are using 21".

Thanks for sharing your different opinions and experiences
For driving around town or on the interstate 22s are great
I am wondering what happens when the road is in bad condition(For example,a city I go to often(Miami) roads can be terrible, with serious cracks in the pavement)
And even more about the roads I will encounter on my drive cross country(Naples to Seattle, via Louisiana,Texas, New Mexico,Colorado,Utah and Oregon)
@LIL RAJA: like your style
