PTT for CTT and Maserati Granturismo

I am about to trade my 2011 PTT for a 2012 CTT(daily driver) and also get a 2009 Maserati Granturismo with the F1 transmission. Am I nuts? The PTT is a great car but it didn't turn out to be as fun / engaging as I hoped. My Porsche dealer is giving me a great price on the CTT( 7.5% off) and buying out my PTT lease plus the money I put up front for it. The Maserati is from a different dealer drove the GT with the F1 and it was a blast. Great exhaust note and crisp shifting. Should I do it ? Suppose to let the Porsche dealer know soon. Thanks for any input.

Go for it! If you like the combo why not? The Cayenne is a great daily driver, if not the best on the market! And the Maserati is a great weekend car with one of the best sound out there! And the 599 transmision is amazing... enjoy them and have fun!

Have you considered the new Cayenne GTS? Plenty fun and engaging to drive while still a great DD.

I just sold my 2009 Granturismo MC-Shift (F1) a few weeks ago that I purchased in 2008, and took delivery of a 2012 Cayenne Turbo a few days later. The Maserati is a wonderful car, and the gearbox and exhaust sound are what I miss the most. I am very impressed with the Cayenne so far. I believe that you would be very happy with both automobiles.

Thank you all for the input.
Wjaznycr did you have the skyhook suspension ? I found a clean one with 6,000 miles with the skyhook but from what I have read it is more sporty without.

No Skyhook. All the research that I did before ordering the car and subsequent test reviews recommended NO Skyhook.

The CTT will not be more fun then the PTT. The CTT can seat more people, has a cool feeling of sitting up high and yet the performance!
But the drawback is the tranny, the PDK is so much better and does not lose boost between shifts, the CTT tranny takes an eternity when shifting under heavy boost. Without an ecu tune and bypass pipes it feels slow. Its a great SUV but not better then a PTT.
Also the PTT rides so much smoother and feels more luxurious then the CTT.
