Did get behind the wheel of a new Boxster S. Fun car. Absolutely love the PDK transmission. Shifts are so quick and precise and right on time. Would be awesome on the Cayenne.
Mmmmmmm yesssss...a PDK for Christmas

A question regarding the Sound Symposer. When the GTS is in Sport Mode, is the Sound Symposer always active? Asking this a different way, can one drive in Sport Mode with the "normal" exhaust sound/levels? Thx

Not possible, sport exhaust and sound symposer will be on, but why would you mute the car when in sport mode?
I love the sound symposer in my 911, Its not a fake sound, just an amplified intake sound in the cabin, outside is a whole different story, sounds like a C63 .
BTW the GTS symposer sounds much less inside than my 911 does.
You can always mute the thing with a couple of corks as some guys did in their 991's.

I would like to have the option of listening to the Sound Symposer or having this at "normal" sound levels to enjoy my Burmester when driving in Sport Mode.
There is something to be said about turning up your favorite tunes and driving it like you stole it....
Thoughts?

I know that at the time of resale, I should expect a higher retained value for the GTS. The real question is whether or not it is worth it? Theoverall driving experience will be different but hard to determine how much...
If you can afford it, go for it. life is for living and as the saying goes..."you're a long time dead" That's my philosophy on life anyway
