Do your wipers skip?
I have a new CTT. I put on Griots new glass sealant and the wipers skip. I removed it and they still skip with light rain. I've cleaned the windshield well but still skip. Is this normal?

treat the rubber edge with some alcohol wipe every 6 months. at every gas stop, i wipe that edge with paper towl and water.
for chattering, apply rain x on the windshield. that should help. in light rain, you don't even need the wiper.

Synthetic blades (Silicone) work better than rubber ones do, especially over time. I have the PIAA Super Silicone blades on my truck and I cannot be without them. After time they imbed silicone into the glass. I rarely need them at all anymore.

I do know remember where I ran across this, however, Porsche does not recommend that you use any glass "sealants" since it can interfere with a stock coating they placing on their windshield. I think PNA also warns you to only use approved windshield washer fluid. Take this with a grain of salt since I am repeating this from memory.
In any event, I still use rain-x windshield washer fluid... meh

As a side note, the welding is a hobby I enjoy. Very gratifying to take raw materials and build something appreciable. The last time I did this was when I MIG welded an exhaust system for my pepper in this thread .
So basically, I open too many threads
Sorry for the OT.
