That's the stuff - same stuff I used. Do you have any symptoms or is this a prophylactic change?

No problem. I'll be curious if you notice a change in behavior after changing the oil. I did - and didn't expect it since I thought my TC felt normal. After changing the oil - shifting overall became much smoother (to the point where I usually can't tell when it shifted - just the gear number on the dash changes..)

Let us know what you think after you do it - and photos of the old fluid are always fun.

I'll report back after change.
Did you also change the other transmission fluids?

I'm going to change out the TC oil as a preventative measure. I believe the TC itself was replaced by Porsche at 35K miles (under a previous owner) and now I'm almost at 80K miles. Are you guys doing just one swap of the TC oil or doing it twice (after waiting a few weeks) to really clean it out?

I used Motul DCTF with my recent change. 800 miles so far with no issues and the transfer case noise is gone.

One chap did it twice. His oil coming out the 2nd change was still pretty dark looking. Not mud, but not like it looked going in. I'm guessing some oil and grunge is trapped in the clutch and works itself free with the new fresh oil.

ktr6 - I can't recall if you're in my table of results. If not - please provide details so I can add you in.

Year, model, mileage, oil-used, forumID - results. Some details on what the problem was would be nice too.

OPPS! In the words of Emily Latella.. Never mind. See you're in the table.

Replacing my fluid with Motul as a preventative measure. Also doing differential oil with Motul 75-90

Is the differential change any more difficult than the transfer case? What type motul will you use?
