New Cayenne GTS 2013 or Used Turbo 2012 ?
#16
I never drove a turbo, but if I had a GTS on order exactly the way I wanted it I think I'd keep my GTS.
I'd like my color choices, my options, zero miles, my original warranty, my rims instead of some other choices. But then again I do a lot of city driving, not interstate. I do a lot of 0-60 acceleration, not 60-80. At least the turbo is typically well equipped.
I am going from a base to a GTS on order too; as long as I never drive a turbo I won't catch the new car bug again.

I Test drove a GTS and thought it was quick off the line and fun to drive
Looks hot as well:I like the aero kit along with the front, rear and side trim
You will love it

Call me an old cynic but a base Turbo is going to feel a little Grandad compared to even a slightly spec’d GTS.
If you’re the sort of person who’s attracted towards the GTS with its lower centre of gravity and nice wheels and sport body kit then unless the Turbo has this (and it’d not be just £15k more I’d have thought if it had goodies) then the turbo, for the rare occasions that you will use the last 80hp will feel a bit old-man-and-slippers in comparison.
If the Sportyness isn’t your thing and you’re the sort of person for whom a nice cup of tea in a Jaguar showroom is appealing, then I’d have thought some comfy seats and wood and things-that-go-beep added to an S would be more the sort of thing that appeals.
The more I think about it - the more I’m sticking with waiting for the GTS.

You're quite right. I've clearly spent too many years riding motorbikes.

What options have you put on your GTS Fawi?
I considered it when I started looking for my new car. My local dealer had one about to come in in that light green with a really nice interior. Was very tempted.

I will , I tried the Turbo 2012 twice for long trips it was really powerful, I don't need all Turbo power but I hope that the GTS is as same smooth drive as Turbo.

That’s a stunner. It’s the Air suspension, PDCC and PTV that makes it for me.
God things are cheap when you’re not in the UK! That spec would be well over £85k here - wasssat something like $137k ?
I’m not jealous, I’m not jealous, I’m not - no really, I’m not.

Probably is the tax. On top of 20% VAT we have a £1000 registration fee and then £460 annual Road Tax - and then 80% of fuel is tax as well so it costs about £140 to fill a cayenne.
