21", 22" look silly on an SUV IMO. Also, they have more expensive tires and a poorer ride quality. 21" looks good (not a rubber band around a rim), is durable, and the ride is just great with air suspension.

Gorgeous red,so deep and shiny
The rear lights and calipers fit in nicely
Not my color at all,but looks real purdy
Awesome choice for wifey
Btw,I have 22s on my CT..coming from 20"...and I do not find the ride quality has suffered at all
On the contrary, even feels a bit more stable, precise..and only a tad firmer
22s do look somewhat too big on an SUV,however I find they fit in well with the overall sporty look I was going for and makes it look more I a sedan
I like your 21s and will keep them in mind if I go down one size(which I might do if I drive cross country again)
Here's a link to the pics of my CT

22" wheels make the cayenne look like a roller skate or dump truck. I made the mistake and paid the price on my old 2012 base. My new gts has 21" wheels and it is so much more appropriate. My gf hated driving the old one because she said it looked ghetto with the huge ridiculous wheels.

Definitely go with the 22s. Anyone who says otherwise have no idea and old fashioned. I remeber back in the day that upgrading to 19inch from 17inch was just crazy... Good luck with it. If I could, I would go 24s with the exact Porsche Turbo II design but slightly concaved. Its not the size but the design that makes you getto..

+1,Well stated
I too had that old fashioned frame of mind for a long time, never ever thinking I would go above 20"
Though as I was upgrading whatever I felt was worth it,I figured : why not be a wittle adventurous with the rims...
No regrets, rides fantastic and actually makes the driving experience feel tighter,so it's all good in my book
However,I am warming up to those sport edition 21s..and will probably get them if I downsize one notch...
