2012 Cayenne Oil Consumption/ Oil Change
I have my 2012 Cayenne for about 10 months now. But it is not daily driven, so it only has about 4800 miles on it. When I check the oil level couple days ago, it shows about half left.
Is it normal consumption?
Also it's almost been a yr, should I just take the car to dealer for service?
Please advise and share your experiences, opinions.
Thank you.

My advice is to start shopping for the filter and for the appropriate oil. Once you get the right oil, put in half a quart, which should hold you until it's the full 12 months old. Then take it and the filter and the rest of the oil to an independent. Otherwise you're looking at about a $130 oil change at the dealership.

There is a nice DIY oil and filter change post with pictures on Rennlist. The filter makes it a job!
