Yes, mine shows album art.

 

My 2012 rebooted one time on the road about a month ago. I don't have jukebox. Hasn't happened since. Not sure what caused it.

 

Can you confirm if album art is displayed only when phone is connected to the USB port (as mine does) and not when connected via Bluetooth?

Bluetooth protocol is not capable of photo transmission, therefore, no album is displayed. Album art is possible as follows: Jukebox, USB flash drive, iPod/iPhone connected via USB, and if you have Porsche Car Connect, album art is also displayed with an iPhone connected via USB.

Album art display is also possible when playing back CD/DVD discs which contain music files.
