my CS got a chip on the first day of ownership and since then has gotten 2 more, 3 total....! Only car I've had that has gotten this beat up and the CS only has 6000 miles.

At least the windshield only cost $300 + install but damn the glass is soft or just prone to getting cracked.

 

Same here. I'm pretty sure it's the glass that's really soft..so if you replace it with oem glass you might want to look into windshield clear bra.

 

I'm getting chips also. I have the windshield tinted with 3M Crystalline which is incredible for rejecting heat and damaging uv rays. Becasue of the high cost to have the Crystalline redone on a new windshield I just ignore the chips.

 

I think I posted the same thing awhile ago. I noticed a chip the first day after I got my 2012CTT almost in direct line of vision. Very small, maybe 2mm, clearly not worth replacing windshield. Didn't even know when it happened. I filled with superglue gel, let it harden, then shaved off with razor what little stuck up.

 

Same here i have 3 small chips in my windshield. I got the first one 3 weeks after taking delivery
