I am happy for you that you got a brand new engine installed!

However my one question is why you would have settled for a remanufactered one. Is Porsche legally obligated to replace it with a new one? On the other post, maverick got a brand new engine from the get-go. Maybe it saves on cost? was this by the same dealer who said it would have been too expensive to do the boroscope test?

If you carefully review those fine print in the manuals (as what my attorney did), you'll find Porsche announced all replacement parts can be brand-new or re-manufactured which meets all Porsche's standards.

I did speak to Maverick several weeks ago and learned a lot from him. Greatest thanks to him!!!
