getting some wheels 22x10 et55. can i use 285/35-22?

Yes. Other sizes that will work are 295/30/22 and 305/35/22.

thanks. the price of tire goes up a lot with the 295 and 305's. hope the 285's won't look funny.

The 285 might look a little stretched over the rim not giving it enough protection from road hazards.

wish there is a pic of 285's on 22*10. was going to get 21s but the tires are even more expensive then the 22". 20 is not much of a change from my 19s now.

Not a very good pic but this is a 285/35-22 on that size rim. Not stretched at all, perfect fit IMO. Very common size tire with lots of options for tire selection.

that looks great. very happy i went with 22x10 now. tirerack has some 285/35-22 goodyear summer tires on sale right now for $170. going to order some. thanks guys!!!
