When I am not using my A/C the air re-circulation button will not stay selected. I will engage it and after a while it turns off. This will happen with or with out the fan on.

Shouldn't it stay selected until un-selected ? Also when outside air is selected should the outside air first go through the in cabin air filter?

I ask as I drove through a dust storm I noticed the recirc button has un selected its self and my car was full of dirt and dust.

I still need to figure out what is going on with the dirt inside the car. First step is to look at the cabin filter.

very surprised that your interior gets dusty after, I drove through many myself and never noticed any difference on or off
