911 trade for a Cayenne ??

Not a serious thought but I have thought about trading in a mint 09 C2S, 6speed coupe with 20K miles for a Cayenne (Diesel) used . Like maybe a 2015 CPO low miles car.
My 911 sits in the garage most of the time as I am in the NY snow belt. Thinking maybe a Cayenne diesel as a DD because I need the high gas mileage.Don t know what the Cayenne s are worth yet? I know there is now an issue with these engines (EPA BS). Also was wanting to trade even when the 911 (997.2s) start to hold their value. I still have a 2015 Legacy lease to finish. Don t know? Any advise from my Porsche brothers? I imagine the cayenne will drop it s value like a rock while the 997.2 may not.
Maybe I ll get over it? Have to go drive one. Also do most of my own service and not sure a Porsche as a DD is the way to go? Maybe cost of ownership is what am thinking about too. I guess you guys here may give more insight as the 911 forum and I already know what that s about. Thanks.

Hey cerbomark .. I have a '15 C4S for the warm days and the '14 CD for all the rest .. all I can say is the perfect pair ... I used to have a '07 911TT and a '09 CTTS and those 2 chugged dah gas and I honestly don't miss them

My CD is uber comfortable - regularly gets 30+ mph and is a snow monsta with the winter wheels

The Diesel is a great car, but even if you wanted to trade for a CPO one right now, you can't, as Porsche has a stop sale on them. We don't know when they will be selling again.

Most dealers are slow to revise internet listings - call and see if they will sell it - maybe the 2013 but doubt the 2015. Let us know what they say.

You are correct, just spoke with them and they can not sell those two used ones. Not only that, he stated he had many of them(new) that could not be released and the people are kinda stuck. Porsche self imposed these regulations. On the open used market, they can be bought and sold at this time.
