hi there i figured out what i did i remove the pin #1and#2 which is for data and i hook up them separately from the new headlights to the module from old headlight and power up and ground it the old module and the car thinks that the old headlights is in and everything works but not the high beam i cannot figure out why

Hi, Interested in doing this on my 2013 GTS.

Questions rear parking sensors, are they very different like the mount has changed or are they completely different and just don't work?
Are all the inner tailgate trims the same?
Will my GTS sport exhaust come through the revised bumper?

The parking sensors are different. It is a common Skoda / VW / Audi part - you can get them from ebay for lik $15 each.

Not sure what you mean by 'trims' - there are 4 palstic covers you have to replace. Two that cover the taillights from the sides and two on the tailgate itself.

Your old exhaust will not fit plug & play - the exhaust tips openings are in a slightly different locations, so you will have to visit a mufler shop to modify the exhaust tips' pipes to fit the new bumper.

Thanks for the reply.
Ref parking sensors, do the later ones still plug into the old harness?

Trims I refer to are the tail gate, inside trims and carpet area? if I was to buy a new one for instance will everything swap over?

I still don't know what you mean. Read this thread from the very beginning. All the parts that need to be changed are there, with pictures.

The new park sensors are plug & play connector wise. It is the housing that is different.

Right now, all this work for people just to "think" you have a 958.2 Other than this...what other reason to do all this work? It doesn't make your 958.1 drive any better does it?

......at the end of the day, after all the time and money you spend......it is still a 958.1

What is so bad about having a 958.1 that makes you do all this. Spend all this time, money and frustation???
Its the ugly rear lights that make guys do it and the .2 is a lot more money.

I was not able to confirm that the high beams would work after the conversion (all of the people I've spoken to had no working high beams) so I just put the turbo bumper.

Before:

After:

It was still worthwile for me as it was ... free. I had a small frontal collision and had to replace the front bumper (with LED bars and grills) anyway. It was all covered by the insurance.

It is custom project, no parts for sale. Last one was better imo.
