Wow, crickets on this one, maybe I need to move to the 958 thread?
So I drove the GTS today and have to say the engine is much more alive other than it is much slower. The suspension is harsher than the Turbo. Any thoughts?

Nice buggy. Optioned pretty well. Nice interior. You'll like the ventilated 18-way seats. 4 zone HVAC is nice, but if you have kids that like to fiddle, you might wish you didn't have it, LOL.
I've got a 2014 Turbo S, black ext/black int/black wheels. Even the outside chrome trim is blacked out, LOL. Have had almost 8 years now and love it; most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. If you need to deal with winter conditions, consider separate winter/wheel tires. I got 19" wheel/winter tires and TBH, wish I'd gotten 20", mainly because the brake caliper clearance with 19" wheels is very tight. If you don't need winter tires and can keep the 21" OEM wheels on year round, the "sporty" tires like PS4S will last 15-20K miles.
One thing a GTS has that most turbos don't is Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). Exhaust is valved by the muffler with a button on the center console. It's fun if you like to make noise.
As far as known issues: Transfer case failure is a thing. Porsche put a 10 year extended warranty on them so you should be OK til 2024. Mine hasn't been an issue but I change TC fluid every 20K miles. The coolant pipes were glued in by water pump and failures have been noted; replacement has pipes held with screws/clamps. Again, hasn't been an issue for me. On early 958 Cayennes, the camshaft bolts were aluminum and prone to shear off, causing catastrophic engine failure; by 2014 I think the issue has been fixed.
If you like to wrench, it's pretty easy to work on. I've done engine and cabin air filters, spark plugs/coils, TC and rear diff fluid changes, changed power steering and PDCC reservoirs at 60K (std. maint) and battery myself. Oil changes and front diff fluid changes I pay to have done; the underbody aero panels are a PITA if you don't have a lift (for me anyway) and if it has PDCC, there's a hose that has to be freed up to get to oil filter. I replaced serpentine belt at 8 years and paid to have that done too as coolant hose had to be disconnected.
Great vehicle. Enjoy!
