22" Tire Suggestions Please
I have a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S. I'm running the stock 20" wheels with winter tires for the winter months. In the summer I change over to 22" Techart wheels. Last year I ran Michelin 4x4 Diamaris Radial X 285/35R-22 102W. They were OK but I'm driving about 25,000 miles a year and went through them pretty quickly. I'd like to find something less expensive since I have to replace them pretty often. Any opinions on the tires I've listed? For what it's worth I think the BFG, Toyo and Nitto NT 420S have a pretty cool tread pattern.
BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT
285/35R-22 106W RN B
Yokohama Parada Spec-X
285/35R-22 XL 106V B
Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR
285/35ZR-22 XL 106W
Nitto NT420S Extreme ZR
285/35R-22 XL 106W XL B
Toyo Proxes S/T
285/35R-22 106W RD
BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT

I do not want to sell the 20" wheels. However, I have the brand new original equipment 20" tires I would be willing to sell. They were taken off the car upon delivery and replaced with the winter tires. Tires have no miles on them.

Please note: I have 20's setup and not 22.
Not sure if this helps but I was previously running Michelin 4x4 Diamaris Radial X as well. I didn't want to get a dedicated winter set so I opted for an all season. After reading some reviews I decided to give the Yokohama Parada Spec-X a try.
I've had them for about 5 months now and am happy with the performance. They handled well in snow and rain and they seem to stick/grip better to the roads than the Michelin's.
I definitely recommend them. But you may want to get a review from someone who has experience with the set on 22's.

Thanks onemanclique. I appreciate the information.I believe the Yokohama Parada Spec-X is an all season tire. I just thought since I run dedicated winter tires on the 20's I may as well go with summer tires on the 22's. Hey but if all seasons work as well on the 22" wheels I'm open to it.

I had the BFGoodrich tires in 22 and hated them. Very noisy and rough ride after just a couple thousand miles.
I switched to the Yokohamas since and have been very happy with them. I am on my second set and for the price, you can't go wrong. Quiet and smooth ride even with some miles on them. Definitely recommended...

I like the idea of 295 but I'm concerned about 30 series. I've already put a little flat spot in one rim from a chuckhole with the 35's. Do you know the speed and load ratings on the Vredestein Ultrac SUV Sessanta?
Thanks

Do these Vredestein Ultrac SUV Sessanta tires have a rim protection ridge guard to help minimize wheel lip damage?

I would use either the Yokohama Parada Spec X or the Pirelli Scorpion Zero (my favorite)
