CTT is getting head

A couple days ago the display showed a "coolant low" message. I noticed the reservoir was completely empty. I filled it up with distilled water (3/4 gallon) and went on my way. When I got home I noticed there was a trail of drops. I brought the car into the dealer and they found 2 leaks. 1 was from one of the hoses, and the other is from a pin sized hole in one of the heads. It'll take a week to fix and is covered under warranty. I am so glad I went CPO!

What's odd is this started just a couple weeks after I had scheduled maintenance done.

Don't put the Kleenex away yet. They gave me a Pontiac Vibe rental car. Once I get out of this thing I will be full of emotion when I get the CTT back, and it could quickly turn into something dirty

$0 later and it's back! The tech estimated it would have cost me $9k. Here is what they did.

Glad the CPO worked out!

Which dealer did you take it to? Barrier or Larson?

Barrier has been fantastic to work with from day 1...and I didn't buy my '05 CTT there either. Their rentals are kinda lame though!

Makes me think I should invest in an aftermarket warranty plan. My warranty ended a few months ago.

Agree 100%! I bought mine from them with CPO, and the previous owner has been a long time customer, so I know I'm in good hands. Their rentals definitely suck, but it makes it all the more better when you finally get your car back

Depending on how long you plan on keeping your vehicle it definitely sounds like a good idea. I'm selling before my warranty ends just to play it safe.
