Got this from rennlist hope this helps

"I got the "Air Suspension Fault Workshop" message on my CT. In the end, it was a bad g-sensor in the right front. The part had to be air freighted from Germany. Took almost a week to get it fixed.""

That message, Air suspension faulty operation, workshop......was my worst enemy in my 04...... my truck actually would lean way off balance (possibly due to a deer accident) and porsche couldnt fix it.....they physically replaced every part on my air suspension and after 3 dealerships, over 7 months and 6-10 grand in insurance claims......they couldnt get it right so i got rid of it.......i did get an 05 ctt and im praying i never see that warning message again!!!!!

Mine would go on and off .......but like yours most of the time i would turn it on after over 12 hours of rest and it would flash but "correct itself" after a few minutes of driving..... i hope your dealer gets it this thursday......theres nothing worse than having the best SUV on earth and have it flashing malfunction lights at you!!!!!

Check out my gangsta lean on the old suspension.....

This seems to be a common fault. I had so much problem with the air suspension that I had to sell the car. After they had replaced the first bad G sensor, another one went bad. And after they had fixed the second one, my air pump for the suspension went bad. It was just too much for me to handle.

Sorry to dredge this up from the past but did they actually fix it by replacing the sensors? How much was it if you remember.

I just bought an 04 that has a shimmy at 71 mph. Additionally, the brake boost light has come on once but reset and now the air suspension faulty keeps coming on.

On my escalade I had 24's put on and the sensor inactive light always came on after because the wheels prevented it from hooking up properly. I have just put 22's on the CT. Is it possibly the same thing?

Aaarrgh!

VW recalled the compressor on 04 Tour-eggs. Its the same compressor in the 04 Cayenne. There is a kit from VW to replace the piston ring in the compressor. Kit is a $150 ish and about 30 min of easy diy labor.

The shimmy is probably tire or balance related.
