What To Look For When Buying Used???

Hey guys,
Looking to pick up a Cayenne for the wife.
We are looking at several different ones.
2008-2009 Turbo or a 2011+ S or Turbo

Are they any major or potential issues I should look for?

I know there have been a couple threads on the subject, but so far this is the only one I could find. It has a few things mentioned, I think most of the big ticket items are there... https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...04-05-ctt.html

I'll see what else I can find too. I think we need to find and/or make a sticky about this as it's asked fairly often

Thanks for the response. Those are for 04-05 models and I'm not looking to purchase one that old.
Do those same issues apply to the new models?

They are tanks ! Apart from coalant tubes problems , you just have to look for parts that need to be replaced soon during to miliage wear.

Don't buy used P!G from cold areas to avoid possible scored engine cylinder.

I have had my 13 turbo for almost 2 years now and have driven it 30k miles with almost zero issues. The only thing that has ever gone wrong with it was one CEL for "small evap leak" the dealer diagnosed and fixed right away.
