Golf Outing Event LOOK!!!!

To my fellow 6 Speed members,

It was a blisteringly hot afternoon at Yankee Stadium. Cameras flashed in a crowded room full of media representatives, McDonald's restaurant owner/operators, agency staff, parents, and students as dreams came true and $300,000 in college scholarships were awarded to Hispanic, high school students who otherwise might not be able to reach their goals of a higher education. This day was made possible by a small group of Hispanic business people who realized that they once might have not been able to reach their full potential without the help of family, friends, or some people who cared enough to give back to their community.

My name is Joe Rodriguez, I am a McDonald's owner/operator and also the Chairperson of the HACER Golf Outing Committee. I represent that small group of Hispanic people who have made it their charge to work year after year to raise funds to be able to give to those who might not be able to afford to go to college. Since 1987, the Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources (HACER), under the umbrella of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), has raised and awarded over 6 million dollars in scholarships.

I come to you asking for your help and hoping that you will care enough to give back to your community. On August 22nd, we are going to be hosting the HACER Golf Outing at Forest Hill Field Club, in Bloomfield, NJ, and are looking for those interested in participating in one of the best charity golf outings the Tri-State area has to offer. If golf isn't your cup of tea, we are also looking for financial contributions or even prize donations that could go a long way on that day towards making the difference in the lives of some deserving, high school seniors.
