Hello fellow car enthusiasts !! I drive my 996 C4 in winter , I know bad idea !!
but she’s the most fun I’ve ever driven in winter and I’m about to do extreme exhaust work trying to do it it right !!
anyone had titanium manifold bolts /lugs , the flat six has these bolts at the worst possible position for corrosion !!
and mine are looking bad ! I’m thinking before they rot to the point of not being able to get any out , I’m gonna systematicly replace them hoping not to snap any , now , does titanium hold up to the heat/cold , would it corrode the head due to the unsimilar metals and cause farther issues ?? Please lend me you’re experience!!!
exhaust is going to be stainless , and keeping stock manifolds
