Update on my project Audi RS4 Sedan
I went for a drive with some of you a couple months ago and was in primer and looking pretty sad. The car has taken me two years to convert to the RS4 body but I've finally got it painted and am starting to put it back together. Just thought I would give a quick update as you probably won't recognize the car anymore otherwise.
If you aren't familiar with the model, the B5 RS4 (2000-2001) wasn't offered in the USA and only came in a wagon. It was the performance version of the S4 and in addition to the performance upgrades it had 4" wider bodywork to fit larger tires. It allowed me to go from 235 to 275 tires and transformed the cars handling. Plus it just looks good.

My reistration renewal is still in the envelope, I registered it while it was a shell. Beats 3 years though!
I'll see you there! I'll be the one sleeping near the car. ;-)

It will never be as good looking as yours, but I think it's now one of the better looking 4-doors out there! Of course I did the work and picked the colors so I guess I would. ;-)

I've had it together for a little while now. Actually tried my hand at taking some 'good' photos with a friends camera when I was on a work trip though Utah last week. It's covered in bugs and road grime but I like them. Still have the Avalon Motorsports sticker on from the car show, but it's gone now.
Doesn't compare to what you and Ronnie can do with a camera though! Here were a few of my favorites:
Still need to color sand and buff it, but since it's a daily driver I'm pretty tickled with the results. Especially after being in primer for soooooo long.

It's amazing what a difference it made to the way the car looks. Side by side with a stock S4 it's more subtle than you would expect, but the impression is that the car is just bigger. In the pic it looks like something you might not even pick up on, but trust me, you do.

I chased a real RS4 down the street in Croatia once. I saw it driving around for a week and finally caught up with him. Love those cars. I think all the RS cars are very distinctive. Have you said if you used all OEM parts or not?

Everything is OEM except the rear bumper. There are no RS4 sedans and the avant (wagon) bumper won't work without modification. I didn't really like the way it looked anyway so I went my own route there. I made it to look more like the new RS4's backside which I like a lot.
