the "3D" layout is supposed to help the driver by only requiring him/her to focus on a single point. Rather than actually looking at where each needle is pointing, it is supposedly possible to get a general idea of the data by looking at the relative angles of the needles.

that's a clever idea! Although, I wonder how it looks in daylight and if it isn't too messy. hm.
why is it showing both boost and bar by the way? I thought bar was for turbo measuring only but I'm no mod person.
