Thanks Flite, I just keep getting sucked deeper into the car detailing. I just put my order in with Phil after visiting with him last night. At least I should have all the supplies if you get bored on your next visit.

Stop buying detail stuff. Just leave the car with me for a few months and I'll take care of it. Give me a call when you get a chance. I'm interested to hear what you got.

Just watch out. You start out with a couple hundred dollar order, and then the next thing you know you've got over a grand worth of stuff laying around.

I've been thinking of getting a Porter Cable for a few years, the group buy put me over the top. With Phil's other recommendations I'm already half way there. And if you add in all the Zanio supplies, well we just won't tell Sharon.

I used it one my truck which has the 20" Dodge RAM wheels and the chrome came out glistening. The inner portion that had a lot of brake dust embedded, cleaned up very nicely. I would recommend the wheel cleaner to anyone having now used it a few times. The only thing I'd be a little careful about is using it on bare aluminum or as a weekly wheel cleaner. The reason I say this; it made TOO quick of work on the trouble areas. I also have a client that has been using the P21S wheel cleaner on his 996 for years. I did notice the wheels have a much whiter-looking silver OEM wheels. The wheels were also a bit dried out and that tells me the cleaner may be drying out the oils in the clear coat on the wheels. If that's the case, then I would say use the P21S every other time or once a month and use a milder wheel cleaner like zymol wheel cleaner weekly. I'll keep you guys posted.

The wheel cleaner that comes in the kit is the spray not the gel correct? If you liked the spray you will absolutely love the gel, it's like a back massage for your wheels when using the right brush.

I have been using P21s wheel cleaner for a couple years on my HREs, BBSs, Iforgeds, Works. It works good, I haven't come across anything better yet. I always dilute it so that it's not as concentrated and it lasts longer that way.

P21S has been the industry standard for decades. It's safety, effectiveness, and value make it tough to beat IMHO.

I would like someone to do a side by side comparison some day soon with Sonax, as I could swear somebody told me that the underground rumor was that Sonax was the manufacturer or something close to that of the P21S... I don't care either way who wins, but would still like to see it...

Oh boy....you stirring the pot now I'm not sure about it but who knows. Regardless, I don't think you can go wrong with either product. P21S seems to have a more robust product line though. You can't really go wrong with anything coming out of Germany. Must be the water, or the beer, or maybe the Schnitzel

P21S wheel cleaner is definitely of my favorite detailing products. I make sure I always have at least a litre on hand.
