DIC-20 water filtration, does it work??

living in South Florida, if you don't dry your car immeditaley you will get hard to remove water spots. Does this system work?? Iam sure that you wil still have drying and finishing touches but i am assumiong that for close to 500 bucks this should be very helpful.

thoughts? experiences?? thanks!!

Here's a testimonial from a client in Delrey Beach, FL:

I received the cr spotless from Moe on saturday. Used for the first time this afternoon. In a word...incredible.Even the windows are cleaner and require no wiping off after wash. Worth every penny. Moe was a pleasure to work with....had a delivery problem and Moe offered a free refill for my inconvenience. Even my wheels are shinier. I was doubtful at first but a friend if mine kept raving about it so I decided to try it. Im glad I did.

A follow up testimonial from the same client:

Got my refill today Moe. Still on 0.01 on my meter after over 3 months washing. Just got finished washing and just left it in the air to dry. What a great product.

YES!!!!!!! It is a great product. I bought it from Moe which was a great experience. The first time i used it my soap had better suds and it seemed to get the car cleaner and avoid the need for drying.

I just wash, hose off, and quick spin and it is good to go. The quick spinis not evn required but I like putting the car away dry.

Also, no more worrying about ater coming out of cracks later and ruining you freshly detailed car.

Absolutely works. Can't live without it now. Also, get the Airmax dryer from Moe at Glistening Perfection. This two system process will eliminate drying, which will also cut down on the swirling potential from the hand drying. Highly recommended.

Absolutely works. When my detailer first told me about it I thought he was BS'ing / trying to give me a sale pitch. He washed my car in the 1AM Florida sun (a Black car mind you) and blew the car off with a leaf blower and let it sit. Sure enough not 1 water spot on the whole vehicle. I've since bought my 2nd unit. With the DIC-20 and an air source you will never wash a car the same way again.

Also keep in mind even when you are using a towel, many times you are still just "breaking up" the water into smaller drops to dry, with the CR these small drops that can cause tiny water spots you may not notice also disappear. This works wonders for things like wheel lips and brushed pieces where you can't always dry them 100%.

Great to hear your feedbacks. That's how great products like the CR Spotless become even better and shared with other enthusiasts.

Do you guys use power washers with these units? If so, electric, petrol? What kind of gallon/ minute rating. I have been feeling the water on purchasing a setup for some time. Got turned off when I tried a friends a while back that had a karcher pressure washer hooked up to it. Lack of water took forever to wash the car.

The larger units can output 4 gpm and the smaller unit do 2 gpm. You can use a pressure washer and it consumes less water than using it with a traditional hose. Either pressure washer will work, the electric is just much more quiet.
