printemps2001 is infamous around these parts
Goo left behind by wheel balancing weights

Does anyone have any tips to remove this stuff that won't damage the wheel finish? I have 997 Carrera IIIs and 997 Turbo wheels, and need to get it off both of them (in case the wheel type matters). Thanks in advance.

PS - Before anyone complains, I also posted this on the 997 board since they are 997 wheels.

goo gone in the spray bottle works well. If that proves futile, use 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover. Just let either one sit for a bit and start removing the glue. Then give the wheels a good wash with a mild wheel cleaner.
