If you are in a condo, just get a pro-detail done, then maintain it. It's really the safe bet.

On a black car, when it's clean & polished, wax almost doesn't mean a thing, it will gleam on it's own.

Real Carnauba will really pop on dark cars. But black is all about the prep!
