knee care solution found!

so i was going to buy the RACATAC unit from Moe, but when doing the physical therapy for my knee, i noticed something in the gym which i bought and been using in my garage for the past few months. it is THE best thing for the knee out there in my opinion.

its called "airex balance pad" and it is about 3 inches of perfect density foam:

best $40 i ever spent. my knees no longer ache or twitch after i have to take off the wheels, wash wheel wells or do other work on my car.

i use a similar pad for gardening. but you aren't comparing apples to apples: the pad has no wheels.

i bought the $45 griot's garage wide-seat creeper, mainly because i'm lazy and cheap. the racatac thing moe had was obviously better designed and more sturdy. it was just overkill for me.

what do you mean the pad has no wheels?! mine does! just kidding... of course it has no wheels. everybody knows that. but the point i was making is that i found a solution to my knee problems (which is why i was originally looking at seats/racatac solutions)

You both have great points. The RACATAC however does something niether a pad nor a chair can do; it takes the pressure off your lower back and distributes it to your thighs. Take it from someone with lower back problems; it's a godsend. And for less than $200, worth every penny considering an epidural can cost into the thousands and back surgery means going under the knife and costing tens of thousands. An ounce of caution worth a pound of cure.
