2 hours? How many people? It takes me 1.5-2 hours to wash, clay and do a quick interior, so I find it very odd that it takes 1 person 2 hours to do a complete 1-step polish detail...

Sorry, but there's no such thing as a 2006 C5 Corvette??
Matter of fact they only made that particular green color for a couple years in the early 2000 models.
That is not an 06 Vette.
You know, you can just open the driver door and see when it was manufactured.
Nice job on the correction, however I find it hard to believe you achieved 100% correction on the rock hard Vette clear coat in 2 hours, even with 3 skilled machines spinning. Was that 2 hours of polishing? or 2 hours from start to finish?
Anyways, nice work Brian.
Josh
PS I don't think lambo door on a vette are so bad.....

I know the photos really make the car look bad, but it was just holograms and towel scratches and they worked out extremely fast. I used one machine the Cyclo and the green 4 inch pads. The evolution polish knocked them out fast. Under the holograms and towel scratches the paint was fine. It worked out quickly and in just about an hour/half it was clean looking.
Normal paint correction takes me 4-18hrs.
He also told me he paid like 10K for the rims?? I don't think they cost that much?
Never just been a fan of the lambo doors. The yellow Vette looks good bro!
Take care...

Yep you are so right ... my bad it was an 00'. He did say it was a limited green so you have to be right on the year. I though it was a C5, must be what a C4?

It is a C5 Vette.
Here's the years and logo as follows:
1953-1962 C1 (53-55 were really different design from the 56-62 but everyone considers them all C1)
1963-1967 C2 (63 was the only year for the split window on the coupe)
1968-1982 C3 (73 was the last year for chrome bumpers....sadly enough)
1984-1996 C4 (it should be noted that no 1983 Corvette was produced as GM did not have the factories converted in time to start production of the all new redesigned C4 by 83 so it was 84)
1997-2004 C5 (for the record, the C1-C6 insignia was not invented till the 5th Generation Corvette came out, which is what it stands for Corvette 5th Gen = C5, all the others took there's at that point)
2005-2009 C6 (ZR1 will be in 09 so I know the C6 will remain till at least 09)
That yellow Vette is Twin Turbo putting out over 800 little Ponies.

ahhhh..thanks for the insight. The owner was in town from Michigan when I meet him up at a local car get together and we chatted about the holograms and towel scratches. It was my first time to see a corvette with lambo doors and LED taillights.
