Cleaning the inside of Chrome Exhaust Tips!!

What do you guys use to clean or polish the inside of the chrome exhaust tips. I just purchase some Zymol Mettal and polished the inside and outside of the chome exhaust tips. The outside looks great, but the inside still looks black. What do you guys recommend I use.

Thanks.

I would make sure that the insides are not painted black! If not it may take a few times to get them clean.

What kind of tail pipes do you have? Factory porsche, tubi, etc. If factory, the inside should stay black, if it's suppose to be polished but it looks black from exhaust fumes, then OOOO steel wool and follow it up w/ Mettal.

If it isn't supposed to be black, then the #0000 steel wool like Moe suggested will work. Just use a strong solvent to break up the carbon deposits, then hit it with the steel wool. Something like Stoners Tarminator works well, or if you don't want something that harsh you can also use P21s TAW.

Wd-40 tends to work well on breaking up the carbon from my experience.
