TwoStroker is infamous around these parts
You might be able to restore most of it. Try using purple Scotch Brite with mineral spirit. Lightly wipe in the same direction as the grain. I used this method on my brushed aluminum motorcycle frame.

I'm not sure how fine the grain is on the sill and I have not tried it on brushed aluminum door sils. If you feel like you have nothing to loose, I'd say go for it. Good luck!

Good call. If all else fails, you just replace them.

Old thread, but I brought it up because I'm going to be giving this a try. I just used it on my stainless cooktop and it was pretty amazing.

I'll post pics when I give it a try - my car is at RAC and won't be back for a few weeks.

Get it covered with Venture Shield like Greta said, it'll work miracles for covering those scratches.

Getting it covered doesn't fix the problem that already exists. I'll cover them after they are repaired.

Mine is almost one year old (tax day I took delivery) and my VS still has the door sills well protected. I can rub off any scuffs and good as new!
