Scuff marks on aluminum doorsill???

You might be able to restore most of it. Try using purple Scotch Brite with mineral spirit. Lightly wipe in the same direction as the grain. I used this method on my brushed aluminum motorcycle frame.
I'm not sure how fine the grain is on the sill and I have not tried it on brushed aluminum door sils. If you feel like you have nothing to loose, I'd say go for it. Good luck!

Old thread, but I brought it up because I'm going to be giving this a try. I just used it on my stainless cooktop and it was pretty amazing.
I'll post pics when I give it a try - my car is at RAC and won't be back for a few weeks.

Getting it covered doesn't fix the problem that already exists. I'll cover them after they are repaired.
