2008 Dodge SRT8 SuperBee

Today's detail is of a 2007 Dodge SRT8 SuperBee.

The car is an amazing vehicle. The SRT8 sports a 6.1 cubic inch Hemi with 425 hp and approximately 400 ft pounds of torque.

The weather in the Northeast today was extremely hot and humid. I swear I lost about 5 pounds but luckily I stayed hydrated. The client requested an exterior detail only and my plan was to use 106FF as the paint was in very good condition. I was very worried that the heat and humidity would make 106ff difficult to work with. I had 1Z polishes standing in the wings if 106FF acted up. Thankfully it performed flawlessly.

The client requested an exterior only but I did the interior for him as well since it was very well maintained.

The car was in very good shape but the inner wheel barrels had a ton of accumulated brake dust on them and the Brembo brake calipers. I spent 1.5 hours alone on the wheels and had to change my wash bucket 3 times...:angry. In the end them came out very nice. Hopefully the Zaino Z2 that I put on the wheels will cut down on the amount of dust. I also polished the headlights with 106FF and a 4 inch pad.

Total Time: 7 hours

Process:

Presoak via Foam Cannon and DG 901 and CG CWG (5 mins)
Presoak lower rocker panels with P21S TAW
Wash with 2 BM and Duragloss 901 soap
Clay with Meguiars Clay
Polish via Makita 9227 with 3M BP and Sonus White pad with 106ff
Polish via Flex with Sonus White Pad
Polish with 4 inch LC CCS pad
Wheels cleaned with Eagle One Tire and Wheel Cleaner and every wheel brush in my arsenal
Inner wells cleaned with Poorboys Spray and Rinse
LSP=Zainio Z2 ZFX'd x2 including wheels and glass
Tires dressed with Meguiars Hot Shine
Glass cleaned with Zep Glass Cleaner

Is it because it's very bright and making our eyes hard to tell?
