Well, I think I've about frozen up my computer enough for one day.

Here are the last of the pics that I'm posting up.

I know this is a long write up, but please read it all before you ask questions as I probably already answered it in the process.

Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed and learned something new, I know I did.

Josh

Wow awesome write up and the fact that you used different polishes helped out a lot. Now I know what I will buy, and all that hard work definitely brought out the shine in that car. I would too, find it hard to believe that it was once Grey. Awesome work!!

Car looks sweet. Looks dripping wet!

Have you ever tried the Mirka sanding system? That system will cut your sanding time down to 1/3 of what it is now.

Also, 105 doesn't like water. Water will clump the abrasive together and give you swirls. 105 likes to be rubbed in hard for excellent fast cutting. If I find myself color sanding and rubbing out a clear that is on the softer side I will go with Meguiars 86 and reserve 105 for hard clear.

Again awesome work!

Jeweling is basically after you've worked in the compound/abbrasive polish and it's nice and clear looking, you turn down the speed to a low setting and continue to refine and work the polish in a bit more to help "jewel" the surface.
