Here's some cars that I have recently completed. The first being fellow 6-speeder Jerry Harmon's '02 black 996 Turbo. The car was basically stock and with Sharkwerks doing all the mods and me handling the aesthetics, the car went from very nice to wow. Some of the aesthetic touches were as follows:
  • Bumperplugs, painted bumperettes
  • Bumperplugs, gloss black Turbo badge (replace chrome boring badge)
  • Custom license plate frame (gloss black) with silver Turbo Script from the Paddock at the Livery in Danville
  • Custom Logo-Caps with HRE logo to match the centercap on the HRE C20 wheel
Special thanks to Erik at Bumperplugs for sending out a second Turbo script badge overnight when the first one was ruined!!

The following pictures are the second Ferrari 430 Scuderia that I did and, lastly, the pics of the 997 Turbo interior.

The black Porsche was especially difficult -- over 24 hours of paint correction needed. Big time RIDS and on top of that the whole left side had been repainted. Extremely soft paint along with a gift of wet sand scratches left behind by the body shop (just for me!). Had to start out with rotary correction wool pad with Meguiars M105 but then I started to follow the suggestions of using my Flex DA with the Gloss-It products and as Smoke who is on this board has said in the past the Gloss-It polishes work better with the Cyclo or Flex DA. The Ferrari wasn't too bad but had wet sand scratches on the challenge grill in the rear of the car and usually I would rotary correct this problem but I experimented with the Flex and Gloss-It Extreme Cut with a cutting pad and it corrected it 100% which I was surprised to say the least. On the Porsche interior, pretty new car, however, dealership applied dressing that streaked the entire charcoal interior so I had to strip it and start over and the Gloss-It Leather polish is my go-to product now, which leaves an absolute matt finish but really brings out the softness and smell of the leather.

If you need to do serious correction you can use Extreme cut (or any of the other gloss it polishes) with the rotary. Just keep the panel spritzed with the gloss enhancer and keep jeweling the finish on low RPM, makes a huge difference.

Heres a full review I did comparing the Gloss It extreme and Meguiars M105 both using the makita rotary...

This is my car!

I want to thank Bob for the fantastic job he did. I know the job was well beyond what he thought he was getting into.

I go out daily to my garage to admire the work Bob did.

Bob is part craftsman, part artist, and 100% professional!!

Bob, if you have any of the full car pictures you took, it would be great to see them.

Thanks again.

A 100% satisfied customer!
