Detailed: Dolphin Gray S4
Got my hands on an S4 recently and since this was the owners weekend toy it was in good condition with the exception of scuffing on the trunk, water spots, and mild to moderate swirling. After soaking the car down it was quite noticeable that there wasn’t any wax protecting the dolphin gray paint, the owner opted to have the longest lasting sealant I had in my arsenal to withstand the winter elements. Not only that I thought Id throw in a little something special to make the paint look extra dripping wet. Interior carpets and seats were all cleaned and conditioned; the paint received 2 stages of polishing, 2 coats of sealant, and a coat of extra wetness to give it that better than brand new look.
water spot etching on the hood
dusty
swirls are so hard to capture on light metallic paints
the exhaust note was to die for
brake dust and grime
marring on the trunk
paint prep
really hard to tell but the left side of the door was polished and to the right of the flash was untouched. The polished side in person seemed much more glossier, darker and less hazy than the untouched side

thanks guys, audi clearcoat was hands down one of the most if not hardest clearcoat I have worked with (then again i havent worked on a vette yet). Ive had bmw's and benz's and the audi was definitely harder.
