Detailed: 2009 Corvette ZR1

This car was brought into the gloss-it detail facility about two weeks ago for our Signature Gloss Finish. This long term and good customer of ours has been buying and collecting corvettes for the past 30 years. When he called to tell us that he took delivery my staff was pretty excited to see the fastest production corvette ever produced. The customer requested we go through the car top to bottom and give the full gloss-it Signature detail treatment.

We also installed a clear bra on the front bumper with Venture shield Film. We prefer Venture film over 3m and avery because it helps maintain the same factory paint texture without creating heavy orange peel. Also has a great gloss!

The condition of the paint was very impressive. Very little scratching or any type of swirls. I guess you should except perfection for the 115,000 Sticker plus the premium over invoice.

Gloss-it Products Applied:

Gloss Shampoo
Gloss Clay Bar ( Green Mild )
Gloss Enhancer
Gloss T.R.V
Gloss Evolution Polish 4inch Green Pads
Gloss Evolution Cut 4inch Yellow Pads
Gloss Signature Gloss 4 inch Blue Pads
Gloss Concorso ( Soon to be released! / hand applied)
Gloss Signature Tire Gloss ( Soon to be released )
Gloss Satin Leather Cleaner
Gloss Satin Leather Polish

Polisher: Cyclo

I took some before pictures, not bad just dirty.

After: The metallic paint really jumped off the car.

That was before shots, now heres the after

The car was corrected using Gloss It polishes and the Cyclo polisher.

This car was polished after machine correction with our new Signature Gloss finish and follow with our new Concourso Polish. It has no cut and its purpose is only to enhance the finish after applying the Signature Gloss Finish LSP.

The customer only requested we clear bra the bumper. Here are a few shots. This is not an easy install. We spent about three hours and two guy's. We aimed for perfection! The customer questioned the install when he picked up his vehicle, because he could not tell the Clear Bra was on

Our location is on Spring Mountain and Jones. Northeast corner behind walgreens. Granite Auto Grooming is a full motor sport & detail operation, also the headquarters for Gloss-it Appearance products. I started my first location in Boston, Mass in 1990. Decided in 1996 to move to Las Vegas a booming economy and much better climate for detailing.

Great work on a great car.
how hard is it to remove the clear bra? I heard they leave a nasty residue.

Nice install. I know it is basically a Z06 bumper kit. I just wasnt for sure if you wrapped the hood and fenders or not.

Josh: Clear bra kits are not tough to remove. Lift at a 90 degree angle and it will take most of the adhesive off with the film. If there is anything left use 3M adhesive remover.

Thanks for the compliments! We did not wrap the fenders or hood. The customer wanted to think about it.

I knew the background pics looked familiar. I used to live down the street from Red Rock Casino. Keep up the good work. :-)

The Concourso is a pretty remarkable product. Its a very fine finishing polish that has zero cutting ability. You can apply it by hand and it brings out a really deep wet glow to the finish, I consider it an LSP product. You can use the Concourso before or after the LSP of choice.
