You need a foam cannon for your pressure washer. Similar to this one.

I'd like to hear more about using a PW on the car. I've thought it was too powerful. Can someone with experience chime in about this?? I have one, a honda, I think 2850 PSI?? But I have never used it on my cars, once on an old pickup truck caked with a weekend of mud.

I've used it on tons of cars up this point... its really not too powerful if you use it properly, you obviously need to stand back a bit and use the proper nozzle. i use the white one (not sure if the color code is the same for all), i think its the 45* angle one. My dd is a subaru and the paint on subaru's is known for being super soft and terrible and i have yet to cause any damage on it. Again, you just need to be aware of the capabilities of the PW and approach washing the car as such.

Do you mix soap with the tank? use this foam thing mentioned above? or just use it for rinsing??

Liked to hear from some of professional detailers too??

my PW has a soap tank on it, but that is not what i use. The foam cannon attachment screws onto the end of my gun (replaces the long wand section) and has its own soap bottle.

my normal process is to get the car wet with a quick rinse with either the hose or PW, foam it down, rinse with the PW, wash by hand, and rinse with very low pressure.

nice collection!

It's funny how geeky I get looking at pics like this. It's like Car Detailer's ****!

"HEY, LOOK WHAT HE'S GOT! I've got one of those too!"

I LOVE my foam sprayer!! I am using it with my Karcher electric though. Works great!!

D!
