How to Remove Wax Build-up on Clear Bra Line?
My car has Clear Bra (or Venture Shield, I'm not sure what brand) installed on the entire front and mirrors. However after appying Menzerna polish and Einszett wax the line between the Clear bra area and non protected area is quite visible. I can use my fingernail and micro fiber towel to remove some of it but it is still present. Are there any tricks or tips to help the line dissapear? Below is a pic to help explain the issue. BTW, I had the same issue with Zaino so it is not product specific. There must be a trick the pro's use.
TIA,
Adam

Take a wooden toothpick, and gently start along the seam and pull towards you at an angle. That'll get most of the residue off. For the rest, use a microfiber towel and some detail spray and wipe gently along the seams.
Next time, let whomever wax/polished the car know, when waxing or polishing the film, push the applicator AWAY from the seam. Hope this helps.

What can be done about wax build up along the seams and how can I avoid it?
Are you sure it's wax and not the glue from the Clear Bra?
As it gets warm, some of them will shrink a little and leave residue around the edges. Gently remove with an adhesive remover on a micro fibre towel and be sure to go over any paint that you get the adhesive remover on with wax and to put vinyl protectant on any clear bra you get the adhesive remover on.
When waxing around a clear bra, mask off the line just a little over the edge with blue painter's tape. Wax will leave a white line on the seam, use painter’s tape to mask the seams before polishing / waxing and wax the film and uncovered portions separately to keep from wax build-up. When you remove the tape just wipe off the wax on the paint. If you accidentally wax over the seam, use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a Q-Tip or a damp micro fibre towel and rub it off. Another caution is to avoid buffing over the seams, which creates a noticeable wax line as well.

Use a product like Klasse All In One, which has cleaning agents in it, either by hand with a Microfiber, or with a random orbital with a finishing pad and a medium speed. The random orbital is your best bet if you don't want to scuff your paint up, and yes Microfiber will scuff paint if pressed hard enough. The key is to use a cleaning product.

Excellent info guys! Thanks. I detail my own cars but this is the first one to have Clear Bra. I'm confident that this is simply wax build up as the line was not visible when the Clear Bra was new. I will start with a Q Tip and/or Iso Alcohol and QD and move up to the toothpick if more is needed. I knew there had to be a simple solution. Much appreciated everyone!

if you need to polish or buff, tape the edge of the clear bra off. As for removing build up, we typically use a very fine / plush microfiber and a synthetic detailer spray. Moisten up the residue and wipe off following the edge of the bra.

Pretty funny. In all seriousness the toothpick and QD took off most of the excess. Thanks again for everyone's input.

The ol' toothpick works every time. If that fails, then I generally reach for the sharpest razor blade I can find......
