got my flex today

and used it today on the turbo. Its great and i got rid of a lot of minor imperfections.

Got a quick question regarding how to get rid markings on 3m. My whole front end is 3m'd and i noticed that there are a few lines ... almost seems like a piece of tape or something marked up the 3M. Kind of a skid mark like appearance. The markings are not deep but you can see them at certain angles.

Can i use the flex to polish these out?

I have a orange, white and black LC pad with SIP and PO106FA.

thanks for any tips.

Congrats on the flex...it's an excellent tool.

Use the orange pad w/ sip on setting 5. That'll do the trick...you can then finish up with the white pad and 106 on setting 5

Moe, so do you just treat the 3M parts just like paint?

was worried b/c the 3M is a rubber like (softer) coating vs clear coat being harder that i was gonna create more scratches.

Yes...treat it like paint. Just don't press too hard or let the flex stay in one place too long.
