Dymag stain

Dymag stain
I recently posted in the 997 turbo section about a question I had regarding my Dymag rims. I recently got my car washed and once I got home I noticed that the rims had whites stains everywhere. Tried water, windex initially to get it off....didn't work. Contacted Dymag they suggested something called black bumper something...said it would help with hard water stains (I think that it was an armor all like substance that was used). Regardless didn't work. Eventually I read somewhere that vinegar might work so I tried it since I was pretty upset about my rims. The vinegar actually worked but now I am a little worried that maybe it worked b/c I semi-stripped the clear coat or something like that. Anyone have any thoughts? Do I need to get them re-painted/laqured? Does something with the pH of vinegar do damage?
Also any recommendations on detailers in Mid-Wilshire, LA area? Thanks in advance...new to 6speed....so far it has been awesome.

Vinegar (Acetic acid pH 2.4) is commonly used to counteract an alkaline; it is used on a clear coat surface to remove water spots and is ‘paint safe’. P21S Wheel Surface Cleaner (pH7.5) is a safe and efficient product for cleaning wheel surfaces

It looks like they used an acid wheel cleaner, and it damaged the wheels. They should probably be hand polished and waxed. You should get ahold of Moe Mistry from Glistening Perfection. www.glisteningperfection.com he is a 6speed sponsor and does fantastic work.
