Deformed leather surface – leather upholstery fibre structure will stretch in all directions with no particular grain or stress pattern. The urethane surface coating will not withstand multi directional stress, however, and when it’s flexed or stretched continuously in the same place the surface coating develops an indentation, car seats will often leave a ‘dent’ in the upholstery surface, however it is the foam that is deformed, more than the seats covering. The application of low pressure / vapour steam will help restore the shape, used in conjunction with hand pressure

You can try that. You can also leave it outside...the texas heat should help warm the leather and maybe reshape the seat back to where it was.

I've never tried a steamer, so I couldn't give you an honest feedback. I know steaming is what the factory does to mold the leather around all the curves of seats and interior panels. In your case, it a few days and see what happens. The reason why I say that is because this isn't an area where something sat for months or years and the leather now has "memory" of the object and it won't reshape back to normal. If I'm not mistaken, your seat indentation is a result of one incident.
