System One cut-polish and buff
Well it's been 25 years since finishing a car so I thought I would try it again with the help of a friend inexperienced as me Special thanks to Brian which did most of the hard work. I am not affiliated with system one products just thought I would try it. First it is HOT here in phoenix, AZ 107 degrees when doing the car in the shade. The "one" substrate cuts and polishes however dries fast (water based) in these temps and came with 3 pads 8,6 and 4 inch (wool on one side and foam polishing on the other) which turned out to be handy in areas that required a small pad and and buffer adapter for pads I ran buffer circular at 600 to 1200 rpm varing. Total time 10 hours. The buffer I used was:

1. cut buffed whole car to access what corrections where necessary which where numourus.
2. taped (masking tape) all areas that needed or could be fixed.
3. color sanded using 2500 wet and sanding block
4. recut and polished
5. Rest my back
With my limited knowledge of detailing the system one does work well and car looks great, however I still have spider webs at certain angles in the direct sun and some what looks like water stains did not come out even with color sanding (note pic) I must be missing something or did not hold buffer in one area long enough. Clean up was easy wash pads in water and spin dry on buffer.
Sorry the pictures where taken with camera phone and I do not have any decent distant pictures yet.
