Fresh paint on my car...

How long do I wait until I can detail/polish my car? Thanks!

It all depends on the chemistry of the paint and how it was cured. Whomever painted your car should be the one to tell you exactly when the proper curing time is. For example, the old body shop I used said to wait 30-60 days based on their paint and their curing procedure. The new shop I've been using for the past year has a more advanced state-of-the-art facility with cutting edge technology. Their curing time is a few hours to a day. You can definitely wash your car, but it's the waxing that you need to wait on. I hope this helps.
