p21s carnauba wax

Hello everyone,

I noticed today on my front bumper a coat of wax, sort of a glare looking that was not removed properly, I think p21s its kind of hard to buff, any one that might come acros the same problem.. or any suggestions on how to get it off when waxing your car..I might be doing something wrong

thanks

P21s is usually pretty easy to work with. It should be applied *very* thinly and removed as soon as it lightly hazes.

How did you apply it, and how did you remove it?

I did a light coat and I let the wax dry for a bit.. what I have now is just like on small areas some dull spots from the coat of wax that was not properly removed..

Jean Claude is infamous around these parts
Use a spritz of quick detailer on a microfiber to remove the glare.

P21S is one of the easiest waxes to remove. What you might try is using the paint cleanser to polish that area, then apply the wax again. That should do the trick. What applicator did you use to apply the wax. Real thin coats is all you need for the wax. You can then re-apply layers each week for 3-4 weeks if you want greater protection.

thanks for the tip, the applicator is the little pad that comes in the container.. I have some swissvax paint cleaner.. on the p21s do I have to wait for the wax to be 100% dry ..

Don't let P21s dry, put on one panel, then remove.

It's a super easy wax to work with, you can put it on just about anything, it should not leave any white residue anywhere.

Maybe it's the weather where I'm at, but I can let p21s sit for almost 20-30 minutes before wiping off. You need to let waxes sit for a period of time, this will vary by manufacturer, to allow the solvent in the solution to evaporate. This leaves behind the actual wax or polymer and other ingredients in the emulsion. But if you gound a way that works, great to hear, and stick to it

I find if it is humid (or raining outside) you need to take an extended time before rmoving the wax.
