There is a lifetime warranty for yellowing of the film that is offered by ventureshield. Obviously if certain portions of the paint protection film gets hammered by rock chips then it's your choice...if you cannot live with the appearance then the installer will remove the existing film and install just that portion of the paint protection film. If there is a substantial insult like deep keying, very bad door ding or a very sharp rock chip then the paint will also be damaged. There is no guarantee that the film will provide 100% protection against such events.

8mil. including adhesive. Very invisible and durable.

VentureShield Paint Protection Film is virtually an indestructible eight mil thick (.008") clear Urethane film (.015 is also available). It is optically clear and guaranteed for life against yellowing or cracking due to UV exposure.

 

It just amazes me how you can "shrink wrap" an entire car and have it look so good. Just outstanding. Considering the initial investment in the car itself, it only makes sense to take this next step.

If I could ever get the paint corrected properly on the old Benz, I'd get it wrapped to keep it that way.
